It’s Time
Well, it’s definitely time. I have avoided it for far too long. I was suppose to do it at the beginning of the month, and now I’ve come to the point where if I don’t do it now, I’m going to get myself into trouble. It’s time to take the car down to the DMV. Nobody likes going to the DMV…heck, I’m sure that the employees of the DMV don’t like to go there (I’m sure they like having a job, but listening to all those people give excuses and complain all day has got to get annoying!).
Anyhow, tomorrow I make my trek to the DMV to stand in line and pay fees that are far too high for what I am given the ability to do. The DMV is a scam in my opinion. I admit that I understand that I should pay for my license every year, but to have to pay for registration every single year seems a little ridiculous. I’m already paying taxes at the gas station to take care of the roads and highway patrol, so I’m a little dejected about paying fees to “register” my car every year. When you think about it, I already registered it. Did they lose my information since the last time I registered my vehicle? And if so, why do I have to pay them a few hundred dollars to give them my “registration” information again…if they had lost it?
Anyhow, I’ve rambled on enough about something that we all dislike and have to deal with, so I’ll end this post with a “Go DMV!” ;)
